Most haircuts go wrong before a single snip happens. They go wrong in the consultation, when nobody really looked at how your hair grows, how it falls, and what you do with it on a Tuesday morning at home.
So I built a habit I now call The Pre-Cut Read. Before I pick up scissors, I read your hair’s density, growth pattern, cowlicks, and the way it moves. Then I cut for the head you actually have, not a photo. It’s the difference between a style that works for one day and one that still looks right six weeks later.

Where I trained, and why it matters for your appointment
I earned my Master Cosmetologist license and stayed certified with Paul Mitchell, Tigi, Schwarzkopf, and Redken education. Early in my career I served as a Toni and Guy Artistic Director, which sent me to train in London, Tokyo, and New York. That’s where the precision-cutting discipline came from.
I later opened and ran my own JScott Salon, then worked for years as an independent stylist so I could control every detail of the work. In 2020 my clients voted me Gwinnett’s Best Hairstylist. None of that is decoration. It’s the reason I can fix things other chairs walk away from, which is why so much of my week is color correction on work done somewhere else.
