Face framing (10 foils only) is $125. Partial highlights with glaze is $170. Full highlights with glaze is $210. Glaze is included on partial and full at no extra cost.
Face framing is 1 hour. Partial highlights are 1 hour 30 minutes. Full highlights are 2 hours. Time includes the consult, placement, processing, glaze, and finish.
Partial covers the visible top, part line, and face-framing area (roughly half the head). Full covers the entire head including the back and underneath. Partial is right for a refresh. Full is right for a broader brightness shift.
Highlights for stronger lift, brighter root-area coverage, and more controlled placement. Balayage for softer lived-in dimension and a less visible grow-out. I will recommend the right one at consultation.
Most clients touch up partial highlights every 6 to 10 weeks. Full highlights typically stretch to 10 to 14 weeks with a glaze refresh between.
I use Schwarzkopf professional formulas with bond builder and run a porosity check before choosing the lift level. If the hair is already compromised, I will say so and recommend a gentler approach.
Usually, if the visible top and front need brightness. Full highlights are better when the back and underneath also need to shift.

Most highlights in Venice come back too brassy, too striped, or too defined for what the client actually wanted. I get it. After 30+ years and 15,000+ clients, I read your hair, your face shape, and your maintenance window before I weave a single foil. Face-framing $125. Partial $170. Full $210. Schwarzkopf glaze included on partial and full. Every weave planned, every tone locked at the rinse.
Hair Highlights Venice FL, done by me
30 years. 15,000+ heads. Every appointment runs through what I call The Highlight Map: three reads before a tool touches your hair. That is why my work holds tone, why your grow-out reads natural, and why my chair sits at 5.0 across 95+ Google reviews.
Foils are woven, not painted. I plan the weave pattern by section so brightness sits where it actually shows on your styling day.
Each foil traps body heat, processes evenly, gives maximum lift balayage cannot match.
Custom-mixed glaze refines the result so foils stay tonal, not brassy.
Face-framing highlights brighten the front hairline only: 10 foils placed where the light hits when you look at yourself in the mirror. Partial highlights cover the top and visible sides for a stronger, all-over visible refresh. Full highlights add brightness through the entire head including the back, which matters when you wear your hair up or part it differently.
Most clients can stay with partial highlights as a maintenance cycle once the first full highlight has been done. The exception is when gray coverage at the roots or a major contrast goal needs the broader treatment.
Glazing after foil highlights refines the tone: neutralizes brass, adjusts warm or cool finish, and adds the shine that makes the brightness look intentional instead of stripped. At Scott Farmer Hair Salon, the glaze is built into the published price for partial and full highlight services. Other Venice salons commonly add the glaze as a $40-$80 line item.
Thin and fine hair needs a lighter touch with the lift: too much contrast in too few foils makes the brightness feel patchy instead of dimensional. Color-treated hair needs the previous color factored into the formula so the new lift does not pull warm or uneven. Bring a current-hair photo and a goal photo to the consultation. Scott will tell you whether the appointment needs to be a partial, a full, or staged across two visits.
Face Framing (10 foils): $125. Partial Highlights with glaze: $170. Full Highlights with glaze: $210. Published starting prices.
Three options, and which one you book depends on the result you want, not the booking time. Face-framing if the front hairline is where you want the brightness. Partial if the top and visible sides need the lift. Full if you wear your hair up, switch your part, or want the back to read the same as the front.
Face Framing: $125. Partial: $170. Full: $210. Glaze is included on the partial and full. That alone usually saves clients $40 to $80 compared to other Venice salons that bill the glaze as a separate line.
Pick the right service
Here is the deal. Most salons quietly oversell the service the client walks in asking for. I do not. I will point you to the right service even when it is not the one you came in for.
