Partial Highlights

What is the difference between partial highlights and full highlights in Venice FL?
Most clients waste a half hour at the consult trying to guess if they need partial or full. I get it. After 30+ years and 15,000+ clients, the answer is simple. Partial covers the top section and the face frame, runs 90 minutes to 2 hours, and brightens what shows on a normal styling day. Full covers the whole head, runs 2 to 3 hours, and gives you all-over dimension. I will tell you which one matches your goal in the consult.

Partial Highlights, done by me
Partial highlights are a smart way to brighten without committing to full color cost or maintenance.
30 years. 15,000+ heads. Every partial highlights at my chair runs through what I call The Face-Frame Set: three reads before a drop of Schwarzkopf touches your hair. That is why my work holds tone, why your grow-out reads natural, and why my chair sits at 5.0 across 95+ Google reviews.

Where the foils sit
Partial highlights are foils placed around the face and at the top section. I plan the weave so brightness reads where you actually see it.
Soft into the base
I avoid a stripe by varying weave width and feather the bottoms of each foil into the existing base.
Glaze at the rinse
Schwarzkopf glaze custom-mixed so the partial reads cohesive with the rest of your hair.

Partial highlights: best when the brightness is focused
Partial highlights are usually a better fit when you want visible brightness around the face, top or part line without changing every layer of the hair.
Choose visible coverage
Partial highlights focus on the areas people see most. Full highlights are better when you want brightness through more of the head.
Think about how you wear your hair
If you wear hair up often or want brightness from every angle, ask whether full placement makes more sense.
Plan tone and refresh timing
Highlights usually need toner, gloss or maintenance planning to keep brightness soft and controlled.
Ask Scott first if: you want brightness underneath, wear your hair up frequently or expect an all-over blonde result.
